Donna Gonzalez, AMFT

Donna is an associate marriage family therapist on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Her professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and elderly individuals. In her career as a Case Manager with Wayfinders, she gained significant experience working with young adult autistic individuals, down syndrome individuals, and cerebral palsy individuals. With her Mexican-American background and her involvement with the community, she has been able to bolster her professional experience with multicultural individuals. She thoroughly enjoys working with first-generation clients to break generational trauma. Given her personal experience, she has become passionate about working with prenatal and postpartum mothers as well as experienced mothers with everyday stressors. 

Donna received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from California State University, Fresno and continued to receive her Master’s degree in Marriage Family and Child Counseling. 

As a therapist, Donna thrives to provide a safe space in order to explore, connect, educate, and support. Donna provides a culturally sensitive, safe space, and holistic approach during sessions. She believes that you are the expert on your own unique experiences and wants to be a vessel to support your growth.  She works with different therapy modalities to better fit each unique patient's context.
